Policy priorities

Today more than ever, an organization such as LCLAA needs to remain focused on trabajadores both here and abroad to create a better future for all Latinos/as. Read LCLAA’s Policy Priorities to learn more about our organization’s goals.

2025 Resolutions

LCLAA Chapters passed numerous resolutions as part of the LCLAA's 25th National Convention, reaffirming our commitment to Latino workers' families. These resolutions continue the legacy established and address urgent priorities such as immigration reform, solidarity, and the critical importance of organizing to build worker power.

During LCLAA’s 24th National Membership Convention in August 2023, members passed numerous resolutions to orient and focus our activism. Together, these make up a comprehensive body of policy that outlines the issues most important to Latino workers, including an equitable pandemic recovery, sweeping and fair immigration reform, solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Latin America, and the importance of organizing to grow our movement.

Drafted by our founding members and updated over the years, LCLAA’s National Constitution and By-Laws establish our core principles and describe the means by which our leadership is elected and chapters established.
